Perpetual Winds, under the baton of Samuel Lee, proudly presents Christmas Pageant 2015 at the parish of our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Singapore on Christmas Eve 2015 .

This musical prelude to the solemnity of the birth of the saviour Jesus Christ, consists of 5 movements. In the third movement, we hear the story of the birth of the baby Jesus in Bethlehem, the angels appearing to the shepherds and the glorious declaration the heavenly host sing accompanied by a musical setting entitled “ For unto you is born this day “ by James Hosay

Perpetual Winds makes its debut this year at the Christmas Eve Pageant as the resident wind ensemble of the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour (OLPS). Local Singaporean musicians from all walks of life and experiences form its ranks and the group is directed by OLPS parishioner, Samuel Lee. The aim of the ensemble is to experience wind band repertoire afresh in a different context and setting with a leitmotif of friendship amongst its members as well as the spreading messages of joy and peace through making music together.
